For many runners, a half marathon is the pinnacle of their ambition; for others it is a competitive race or a stage on the way to completing a full marathon. Either way, it should be treated seriously and you need to be in good physical shape and take your training seriously to complete it.
 
We have two experts offering advice and training for body and mind. Fiona Bugler, BA (hons) will be writing a weekly advice column here on the website (Click Here) and in the
Eastbourne Herald. This will be centred around health, fitness, diet and race preparation and be in conjunction with Jason Hull and the beginners training group.

If you are new to running, it is important to follow a training plan to prepare yourself for the day. So why not join our official beginners Eastbourne Half Marathon training group lead by Jason Hull advance personal trainer, run coach and UKA Run England leader.
  • Meet Tuesday and Thursdays 7.30pm at the Bandstand
     
  • Meet Saturdays 8.30am at Natural Fitness Centre for a longer run / informal chats and advice
     
  • Nutritional Advice, Running Coaching and Advance Streching
     
  • Includes your official ‘training for the EHM t-shirt’ - (call or email for details).
